Joomla! 5.x Coding • Joomla core API: Remote authorization

Hi all!

I have long forgotten what Joomla is, but recently a friend told me that you now have a built-in API for working with external applications (although, as it turned out later, it appeared back in 2016))).

I read the documentation, deployed the CMS on my server, played with the API via Postman - great :) But I still can’t figure out how to correctly receive a token. Initially, the access token is generated in the user profile in the CMS. Ok, I have a token and I want to use it to integrate with web applications, say, based on Vue or React. But I can't store the Joomla API access token in the code of the web application itself. However, I did not find the endpoint in the API for sending authorization (usually I just login and password to the server explicitly via https or in base64 via “:” for receive a bearer). Please tell me which direction to go? How to log in to Joomla correctly and receive a token to work with the API? Now, as far as I understand, you have delegated this to users? That is, I generate a token in my personal account, then save it on my backend and build my own system for authorizing my frontend application on my backend server? Then it's not so cool =/

Thanks in advance for your answer!

P.S.: I apologize if I posted this topic in the wrong section, but I didn’t find any sections dedicated to working with the Joomla API.
